HOW DID YOU MEET?

We met in 2009 at a local pub. We got each other’s numbers from the mutual friend and arranged to meet the next day.

WHERE DID YOU GO ON YOUR FIRST DATE? HOW DID IT GO!?

For our first day date we met up the day after we had me met at the pub at a local shopping centre and had a subway for lunch, (and they say romance is dead!!) Oat and raisin cookies are still our favourite though!

WHERE, HOW AND AFTER HOW LONG DID HE/SHE PROPOSE?

Louis took me to Prague for my birthday in 2015, little did I know he would be proposing to me on the Charles bridge. He had made me a scrapbook with pictures of us throughout the years together and the very last page said ‘WILL YOU MARRY ME’ and I turned round and he was on one knee holding his Grandmothers vintage engagement ring. It was a beautiful moment.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR WEDDING VENUE?

We chose our venue because we wanted everything to be in one place, and wanted an afternoon tea rather than a traditional wedding breakfast, which the venue offered at an amazing price. The venue was a perfect mix of traditional and modern for us. It had beautiful gardens with a hidden bluebell field (which was a cute little bonus.) It was also important to us that all of our guests could stay over and the rooms at the Manor Hotel were beautiful.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE MOMENT OR MEMORY OF YOUR WEDDING DAY?

From what I can remember (I had WAYYYY too much wine haha) the whole day was just perfect! I know most brides probably say that, but it really was a wonderful day! It ran so smoothly, everyone had a fantastic time, I got to marry the man of my dreams and danced all night! It couldn’t get any more perfect!

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES?

Don’t sweat the small stuff! Everything comes together in the end, and don’t spend too much time worrying over the tiny details.

HOW DID I DO AND HOW WERE YOUR IMAGES?

You were absolutely fantastic! Our wedding pictures are genuinely some of the most beautiful pictures we have ever seen!! We get compliments on them all the time, even months down the line. We honestly could not of been happier with the service we received from you. Such a genuine, down to earth guy who made us feel comfortable and fit right in with the madness of our day.
