HOW DID YOU MEET?

In mirage nightclub in Kidderminster, Amy was dressed as a playboy bunny and it was New Years Eve

WHERE DID YOU GO ON YOUR FIRST DATE? HOW DID IT GO!?

West one wine bar in Hagley. It went well, we chatted for hours and made each other laugh. I remember Jody wore a green parka jacket.

WHERE, HOW AND AFTER HOW LONG DID HE/SHE PROPOSE?

Jody proposed In a hot tub overlooking the sea in Torpoint near Plymouth on Amy’s 30th birthday 13th December 2015. We had been together nearly 10 years at the time. He did it by presenting an “extra present” which was a box with a Haribo ring in it and asked me to marry him, as our cockapoo Rodney was inside the cottage barking loudly at us through the full length glass windows.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR WEDDING VENUE?

It has everything we wanted, a beautiful room to get married in and a stunning room to have the meal in which also included a bar in it, this was really important to us as we wanted to make sure we kept the atmosphere without guests being spread around the venue in different room we had been the weddings in the past where this was the case and not many people were on the dance floor so we wanted to ensure this didn’t happen and that the dance floor was full all night. We loved the grounds and the fact that there were rooms where guests can stay on site, also a cottage for the bride and maids to stay the night before. All of the rooms were stunning and decorated to exactly our taste. We wanted a vintage glamour theme and this venue allowed us to achieve that. They also provide the option to hire many different themes decorations, lights photo booths etc which took the hassle out of hiring elsewhere.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE MOMENT OR MEMORY OF YOUR WEDDING DAY?

For Amy it is when her dad walked into the bridal suite and saw her in the dress for the first time with all of the bridesmaids and flower girls there too. For Jody it was seeing Amy walk down the aisle towards him in the cermony

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES?

Do everything exactly as you both want it. Make sure you say if there’s something you want done on the day. Make sure you have some time alone together to take it all in.

HOW DID I DO AND HOW WERE YOUR IMAGES?

Everyone said how great you were on the day and you made everyone at ease like you were a friend and a guest. when we were getting ready you didn’t even know you were there your wernt invasive at all. You asked what photos we really wanted to make sure that we had and you got all of those. We love how the photos look so natural and really show people enjoying themselves. There were some really funny and some really emotional photos that capture all of the emotion of the day. My uncle couldn’t be there on the day and we have since shown him the photos and he said they are the best produced photos he has seen. We love the images there are so many and they tell the story of the day perfectly.
