WHAT DATE DID YOU GET MARRIED?

29th April 2017

WHERE DID YOU GET MARRIED?

Brownsover Hall

HOW DID YOU MEET?

We met at school aged 14 in IT class and started dating at 15.

WHERE DID YOU GO ON YOUR FIRST DATE? HOW DID IT GO!?

It was at a park on a lovely summer’s day. We walked around, talked and Luke pushed Leigh on the swings!

WHERE, HOW AND AFTER HOW LONG DID HE/SHE PROPOSE?

After 3.5 years, Luke went to visit Leigh who was living away at university. He proposed on Valentine’s day – but it took another 7 years until we were married!

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR WEDDING VENUE?

We chose Brownsover Hall because it is so full of character! It’s old, quirky and has an amazing atmosphere. We knew the spectacular grounds would make for brilliant photos.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE MOMENT OR MEMORY OF YOUR WEDDING DAY?

We loved seeing all our friends and family in one place, having plenty of drinks and dancing all night.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES?

Work out how many guests you want to invite and what your budget will be. There are so many potential venues around that this will help to narrow them down. Then, go with your gut instinct – you’ll know when you’ve found the right place (and the right dress).

HOW DID I DO AND HOW WERE YOUR IMAGES?

Darren was a pleasure to have around; all our guests said how nice he was and Luke’s mom kept saying how good looking he was! He made an effort to look around the venue and grounds first, so we could make the most of the surroundings for our photos. They turned out brilliantly and they arrived in a lovely presentation box for an added touch.
