My next instalment of Birmingham Wedding Photography goodness comes from a venue you may recognise if you follow my work, I’m very lucky to shoot at this stunning place numerous times a year, the amazing Shustoke Farm Barns. As well as our initial meet and customary beer (job perks), I had the pleasure of a little warm up with Matt + Carolyn, where we took a stroll around the Jewellery Quarter, their former home. All very relaxed and by chance we even squeezed in a beer during that meeting also (you may be noticing a common theme here?). Some highlights can be found over on my old website from their Jewellery Quarter Pre wedding shoot.
So come the wedding day the couple really did not have a thing to worry about.. other than the ceremony, the speeches, guests, the weather … nothing major anyway, but the main thing was, we were all very relaxed in one another’s company. And if there were any last minute nerves, they were certainly not on show during the bridal prep when I rocked up. Carolyn was on fine form, probably the giggliest (if that’s even a word) bride I have ever had the pleasure of spending a morning with, such great fun to be around.
The venue, bridal party and of course the beautiful bride all looked amazing thanks to the help of the following suppliers:
- Hair: Stephanie, White hair and Beauty Company
- Makeup: Laura Walton
- Florist: Bella Lilly
- Dress: Lisa Rose Bridal
- Cake: Daisy Chain Bakery
- Band: The Fanatics
This looked like such a fun wedding . . . that black and white dancefloor wide shot on the first dance with the off camera flash is just stunning. Great stuff
