There is a tremendous amount of effort that goes into planning a wedding day. It often gets overlooked until you get married yourself but for my next offering Rebecca & Steve really did go that extra mile.
The couple had chosen to hire the Rock Village Hall in the heart of the stunning Worcestershire countryside to host their big day. The compromise being that unlike most wedding venues, all you get here is the hall! Im sure Rebecca wouldn’t have had it any other way however, although when I met up with her before the wedding, they had both just spent the whole of their half term break crafting wedding decorations by hand she may have said otherwise! The hard work really did pay off on this one though as you are about to see, the room looked absolutely stunning.
On the day I headed over to the girls in the morning who were busy readying themselves at The Royal Forrester, Bewdley. I then made my way over to the venue where the groomsmen were making sure the room was in pristine condition and all ready to go (under strict instructions from Rebecca no doubt). It just so happened that the bar was open but I’m sure that was a co-incidence. We then took the short stroll along the country lane to St Peter and St Paul church. Following the rather emotional ceremony the congregation all heading on foot back to the hall for one memorable afternoon of celebrations.
The couple did have some help so a special thanks to the following suppliers:
- Table Coverings: Mels Dressed Chairs
- Hair: Victoria Louise Bradbury
- Cake: Deborah Guest Cakes
- Bar: The Cocktailor
As usual, I’m going to let my images do the talking but a special thanks to Rebecca & Steve for believing in me to document your wonderful wedding day, I can’t believe it’s nearly a year ago now, have a great time in Rome xxx
Some great frames here again Darren. Really captured some lovely moments
