So im back on the blogging train with some pretty special weddings from 2016 to share with you all. This next instalment saw me down in Exeter at the amazing Pynes House, were I had the pleasure of capturing Rich & Rebecca most memorable wedding day.
Right from the outset having spoken with Rebecca at length on the phone, then meeting up with them both I just knew how incredible this day was going to be. Firstly because of how nice these pair are and how at ease they made me feel when around them. But also by how enthused they were about their day, with lots of special, meaningful touches. Rich was going all out organised a few surprises for Rebecca which he let me in on, and oh boy was we all in for a treat.
This was going to be a biggy so I drafted in my man Aaron Storry to help, as ever he certainly delivered. They had some great people helping out, firstly the main man Steve Crosswell, Wedding Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies. Steve actually knighted me during the day so please feel free to call me Sir from this day forward, if you don’t believe me, then see the image of the ceremony below. We had Marco Cerrone on hair duties but also almost stealing the show with his amazing hat and the very beautiful Sam Caird of Shhh. beauty and hair on make-up, both stayed on as guests so great to get to mingle with you both throughout the day.
For Rich’s surprises to Rebecca with had birds of prey by the lovely ladies at Hawksdrift and the horse and carriage supplied by Benford carriages. You nailed it Rich!
Finally and most importantly on food, booze and entertainment! Astridges Catering supplied all the food, which I can concur was rather nice! We had drinks supplied by Panache event management who brought along there brilliant bar and team to help fuel one hell of a party. The super talented Starlight performed on the evening to ensure the day continued right into the night. Finally, the cake which was rather brutally chopped with a 5 foot sword was by Cherry blossom cakes.
I had an incredible time and cant wait for their 10 year anniversary where I’m told they will be doing it all over again (not sure if Rich is fully aware of this yet though).
Follows are some of my favourite moments…
WOW! So many epic moments in this wedding . . . owls and swords too!!!
