The one good thing about not blogging for a while is I get to reminisce over some fantastic days I got to be a part of last year, and Logan and Emma’s day was certainly one of those.  This wedding came about after a rather fateful occurrence as I first met this lovely couple during the wedding breakfast of a wedding I was shooting in 2015.  A seat on one of the tables had become available due to an absent wedding guest and by chance it happened to next a newly engaged couple, so of course I was on my very best behaviour !

They were great company, Logan had a rather distinctive Scottish accent so one of our discussions soon turned to how he had found his way into these here parts.  Turns out it was love.  Emma and Logan had met on a European summer holiday and soon after Logan had relocated to be with Emma.    I’m sure there are the makings of a Hugh Grant film in there somewhere but I doubt it will be off the back of my script writing 😐

So following the wedding, I was delighted to receive a call with regard to covering their own wedding the following year.  Emma was to get ready at their home with the help of Georgia Morris who was on hand with the hair and makeup.  We then proceeded to the stunning St Giles Church, Exhall for their ceremony, with the penultimate celebrations being held at the lovely Nettle Hill, Ansty.

Naturally the day was enthused with a vibe from North of the boarder given that a large number of the wedding party had come down from Scotland to share in the festivities with Logan and Emma. The event was capped off with a Ceilidh which if you haven’t had the pleasure is basically a 4-hour run DMC style dance off but to Gaelic folk music. Its pretty epic to be fair.

Anyhow, follows are a selection of some of my favourite moments….
